We have an accomplished research and development facility, approved by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India.

Over the years, we have not only introduced consumables for different welding processes but also innovated several new products. We have brought in the finest production and testing machines to support our development programs.

We are proud to say that our's is the first Indian company to have developed Submerged Arc Welding Fluxes for high speed welding of long seem pipes, narrow gap welding of heavy Thickness plates and many others. Our products have received approval not only from Indian Companies but also from abroad.

Similarly, we have contributed to the Indian economy by formulating import substitute flux cored wires, today being used by premier companies in India, both in the public and private sector. We have a host of developments in manual metal arc welding also, which have greatly benefited the Indian industry.

In our ongoing endeavor towards excellence, we have introduced vacuum packing for some our consumables, precision layer wound wires, drum packed wires and many more. We strongly believe that our packing standards must not only safeguard our products and provide aesthetic appeal but also allow quick and un-interrupted usage of our products.

DEPL has also made its foray into the maintenance-welding sector with a completely new Product Line. We have introduced a range of Wear Resistant Plates, which will save the customer both time and money and also minimize hazard risks. These plates come as a substitute to conventional welding consumables almost eliminating the need for on-site welding. The plates are cut to the required size and often simply bolted to the machine part.
